This is a complete American Revolution unit that includes the French and Indian War through Revolutionary War for American History. This includes notes, activities, a project, and an assessment that is great for helping all learners access grade level content in US History classes.
Students will learn about the French and Indian War through the American Revolution with this editable teacher PowerPoint and fill-in-the-blank notes. Students will learn about causes of the American Revolution, leaders of the Revolution like George Washington, the Patriots and the Loyalists, and much more.

Students will create a poster for the American Revolution to convince people to join the Loyalists or Patriots. This project has clear directions for the poster, a grading rubric, and poster templates.
Students will review the events leading up to the Revolutionary War with these choice boards that are differentiated for different student levels. These are no-prep choice board activities – choices include making a poster, writing a letter, making a timeline, and describing key leaders of the American Revolution. You can have students complete 1, 2, or more activities on the choice board. This also makes a great extension activity!
The presentation and note packet are engaging and informative for students. Discussion questions are included in the presentation. A completed note packet is also included!
