Description
This is a complete unit for the Articles of Confederation, US Constitution and Bill of Rights for US History. This includes notes, activities, a project, and an assessment that are great for helping all learners access grade level content in American History classes.
Students will learn about the Articles of Confederation and the US Constitution with this teacher PowerPoint and fill-in-the-blank notes. Students will learn about the flaws of the Articles of Confederation, leaders of the Constitutional Convention like James Madison, the Great Compromise, and the creation of the US Constitution.
These have been adapted to better support English language learners and special education students in social studies classes. These are great for US History, US Government, and Civics classes!
Students will write notes and complete activities in their notes packet.
Students will research specific facts about one of the Founding Fathers and create a poster about them for American History or Government class. Students will create a scaffolded research project about George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, John Adams, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin. These biography templates are great for helping all students access grade level content!
This can be a great Constitution Day project or Presidents’ Day project!
Two engaging Color by Number for US Presidents George Washington and James Madison activities will be great for reviewing early American History! Students will answer 7 questions about President James Madison to color the picture and 7 questions about President George Washington to color his picture. These are fun and no-prep US president activities for all students!
